How do I update security alerts?
Scenario: I want to see which security alerts are required. I also want to enable some optional security alerts and disable others. Finally, I need to change how I receive security alerts. Solution: I use the Alerts page in Online Banking or the mobile banking app to configure my security alerts.

In the Security Alerts area, I view the alerts. I know that the dimmed alerts are required, and I can’t disable them. |
In the Security Alerts area, I see a disabled alert that I want to enable. The alert switch is set to Off. I click or tap the alert switch to turn it on. |
In the Security Alerts area, I see an enabled optional alert that I want to disable. The alert switch is set to On. I click or tap the alert switch to turn it off. |
I decide to set my Security Alert Delivery Preferences. I click or tap Edit Delivery Preferences. In the Delivery Preferences dialog box, I update my contact information. |
To enable or disable optional security alerts:
- In the Navigation menu, click or tap Settings and Alerts > Alerts.
- Click or tap Security Alerts. The list of available alerts appears.
- Do one of the following:
- To enable an alert, click or tap the Enabled switch to turn it to On.
- To disable an alert, click or tap the Enabled switch to turn it to Off.
- On the Save Alert page, click or tap Close to return to the Alerts page.
To edit security alert delivery preferences:
- In the Navigation menu, click or tap Settings and Alerts > Alerts.
- Click or tap Security Alerts.
- Click or tap Edit Delivery Preferences.
- Enter the E-mail Address, Phone Number, or SMS Text Number where you want to receive security alerts. Do at least one of the following.
- In the E-Mail Address field, enter the email address to receive security alerts.
- In the Phone Number area, select the destination from the Country drop-down list and enter the phone number and extension to call in the Area Code and Phone Number fields.
- In the SMS Text Number area, select the destination country from the Country drop-down list, and enter the phone number to send the message to in the Area Code and Phone Number fields.
- On the Delivery Preferences page, click or tap Save. A success message appears.
